In 2019, Phoenix faced a dark-money fueled ballot initiative that aimed to cut funding to public services. Convergence was tasked with educating Phoenix voters on the ballot question and urging them to vote “NO” against these ill-intended propositions. With this piece, Convergence targeted over 200 neighborhoods in Phoenix to show what specific programs and services would be shut down in their area. Convergence ultimately delivered 275 different versions of the piece, each featuring popular services and advocates unique to the recipient’s area.
