Ruben Gallego, “Between”
Winner, Gold, 2025 Pollies (Candidate Division – US Senate)

This piece was one in a series of pieces we did to help propel Senator Ruben Gallego to his victory over Republican Kari Lake in November 2024. We physically inserted Kari Lake between the patient and doctor to call attention to her support for extreme abortion bans and her past inflammatory statements.
Before the paid media was in full swing for either campaign, Lake’s highest recalled issue for voters was the border. By September, that changed to abortion, indicating that our campaign made serious inroads in publicizing Kari Lake’s anti-choice views and pulling swing voters away from her.
Anyone But Aaron Peksin, “Timeline”
Winner, Gold, 2025 Pollies (IE Divison – Mayoral)
Winner, 2025 Reed Awards (IE Division – Mayoral)

The 202 San Francisco mayoral race saw record-breaking spending and crowded mailboxes. This piece utilized humor and old pop culture references to catch voters’ attention and highlight the worsening crises of homelessness, affordability, and crime since the year 2000 – the year Supervisor and Mayoral candidate Aaron Peskin first took office. The goal of this piece was to place the blame squarely at the feet of Peskin with a simple and succinct message: he’s been in office for far too long and San Francisco’s issues have only gotten worse on his watch.
Thank you to the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) and Campaigns & Elections Magazine for the honor as well as our peers, who judged our work anonymously. Congratulations to our fellow winners!
