Conceived as a cost-effective way to communicate information and solicit contributions from identified supporters of the Yes On One campaign, this piece used a free, enclosed “Yes On One” sticker as a teaser to engage readers with a fundraising ask, and communicated updates on the complicated legal maneuvering that eventually resulted in Question One’s placement on the ballot and passage into law. The nontraditional format was both cost-effective and successful at standing out in a mailbox more than a traditional fundraising ask.
